Arrival in Xining — Gateway to the Tibetan Plateau
Arrive in Xining, the capital of Qinghai province at 2,275m. Your guide welcomes you and transfers to your hotel. Evening walk through the vibrant Muslim Quarter and taste local Qinghai specialties like hand-grabbed lamb and yogurt.

Qinghai Lake — China's Largest Inland Sea
Full-day excursion to Qinghai Lake, a vast turquoise expanse at 3,200m. In summer, golden rapeseed fields frame the lake. Visit Bird Island (seasonal), ride a yak along the shore, and breathe the crisp Tibetan Plateau air.

Chaka Salt Lake — Mirror of the Sky
Journey to Chaka Salt Lake, one of China's most photogenic landscapes. Walk on the crystallized salt surface that perfectly reflects the sky — the famous 'Mirror of the Sky'. Afternoon explore the surreal Dachaidan Emerald Lake.

Tibetan Monasteries & Grassland Culture
Visit Kumbum Monastery (Ta'er Si), one of Tibet's six great Gelugpa monasteries, with its incredible butter sculptures. Drive through the vast Tibetan grasslands, spotting yak herds and nomad tents. Optional: visit a Tibetan family for butter tea.
