Arrival in Urumqi — Heart of Xinjiang
Arrive in Urumqi, the world's most inland major city. Your guide meets you at the airport. Afternoon visit the Xinjiang Regional Museum and the vibrant Grand Bazaar. Evening welcome dinner with Uyghur specialties — lamb kebabs, polo, and nang bread.

Journey to Heavenly Lake (Tianchi) at 1,980m, nestled beneath the snow-capped Bogda Peak. Take a boat ride on the crystal-clear waters, hike through spruce forests, and visit Kazakh yurts to learn about nomadic life.
