Jiangxi
Land of porcelain and poetry - ancient kilns, misty mountains, and timeless villages
Jiangxi: Where Art and Nature Converge
Jiangxi province is the spiritual home of Chinese porcelain. For over 1,000 years, the kilns of Jingdezhen have produced the world's finest ceramics, supplying emperors, sultans, and kings from Beijing to Versailles. Beyond porcelain, Jiangxi enchants with Lushan Mountain - a UNESCO site that has inspired poets and painters for millennia with its sea of clouds, and Wuyuan, often called China's most beautiful countryside with its whitewashed Hui-style villages nestled among rapeseed fields.
The province is also home to Sanqing Mountain (UNESCO), Longhu Mountain (birthplace of Taoism), and the iconic Tengwang Pavilion in Nanchang. Best seasons are March to May when Wuyuan's rapeseed blooms golden, and September to November for clear mountain views. Our private tours include expert local guides and comfortable transport.
